Pollution:

Eliminating Pollution or Environmental Damage is a major concern for Manufacturers. Effluents from a factory can cause irreparable damage to air, water and land. Toxic chemicals, hazardous waste, posionous exhausts, land clearing-excavations, discharges into sewers and waterways and waste storage are serious concerns and companies are required by law to regulate, report and comply.

All companies must be aware of the environmental laws and be in compliance with them. These include pollution control requirements and natural resource management rules. Companies would be wise to establish an Environmental Compliance Management System.
